Help India Pass10th

Why are we doing this project? What is the need?

Students are failing in 10th Class in record numbers every year. Most of them fail in Math, Science, and English.

Around 50% of students drop out of school every year between 1st to 10th grade.

We want to offer these students an alternative path to complete their education.

In State Syllabus, subjects are compulsory and there are no choices offered to the students. In NIOS, students have options to choose any subjects of their interest including vocational subjects to complete their Class 10th.

Ananda Sagara Charitable Trust‘s new initiative “Help India Pass 10th” is to help

  • build awareness of alternative paths to complete their secondary school education through open schooling (NIOS – The National Institute of Open Schooling)
  • Counsel and assess students to help them choose their educational paths
  • Connect students to NIOS Study Centers
  • Coach students to complete their Class 10th.
